The Socialist Irish Republic has seen much turmoil. The Revolution has bought a new political ideology to the highest ranks of the government: The Irish Workers' League-IRA Coalition has allowed for the realization of the dictatorship of the proletariat. The First National Congress yielded many results, the most shocking being the thought impossible election of Leon Trotsky to head of the Irish Government. Firstly, Trotsky must secure his powerbase however with sweeping reforms that intend to exploit the potential of Ireland militarily, economically and diplomatically...
The Proletariat may not labour in vain anymore. The economy shall be expanded and modernised. No longer shall the farmer and worker toil in vain. Now the people may prosper without shackles!
Next on Trotsky's agenda comes the strengthening of the pillars of Socialist Irish politics. Trotsky seeks to empower both the unions and the president, as to allow the two to keep eachother in check. Petty squabbling AND horrifying dictatorships will be prevented by these reforms. However, Trotsky's internationalist outlook will soon seep into Irish politics, and the Irish people will begin to see ethnicity, race and class for what it is: phony manipulations manufactured by the bourgeoisie to keep the masses complacent!
Finally, Trotsky's plan for Ireland is to use it as a staging ground as to drive the revolution forward. As part of his plans, the Trotskyist regime will focus on creating the 4th International, founded as the Dublin-Paris block between a hopefully Communist France and Ireland. This will skewer the beast, the colonial overlord who seeks to enslave the world..
Right proudly high over Dublin Town they hung out the flag of war
'Twas better to die 'neath an Irish sky than at Sulva or Sud El Bar
And from the plains of Royal Meath strong men came hurrying through
While Britannia's Huns, with their long range guns sailed in through the foggy dew
