Puppy

Post by Hastien » Monday 30. July 2018, 19:18

S! As you know, my 5 year old has Autism. She is on the good end of the spectrum, if there is such a thing, but she just has problems with people and communications. She has been having these things called silent screams where she tenses up eyes roll up and her jaw drops open, like in a scream. This is part of her in ability to express large emotions she is feeling correctly. A couple months ago, we were shopping and she had a seizure in the mall. She is ok, but it scared the crap out of me since im not medically inclined like the wife is.

We have received a puppy that will be her service dog for those seizures. He still hasnt completed training, but is in the part where he bonds with the person who he will spend most of his time with. Below is a picture of the dog. He and the 5 year old have made big strides together and are almost inseparable. He will be leaving us I think next week to go back to get his finally training, where hopefully the kids will understand he will be back.

S! The real question about picture of Majes' is; why are all the people in his class women? Is their a underlining strategy here that were not supposed to see. Also none of the dogs are looking at him. Why? Maybe its because all the dogs are used to seeing him at their homes and the one on one teachings he has been giving. Sit Boo Boo sit and the door closes. LOL

I can relate in a way or other with the situation Hastien have.My sister suffers from a ''easy '' form of autism (that's what i understood from doctors. She had an accident when she was 1 year-old and the shock made her brain stagnate .Physicaly she's 13 but mentaly she's more younger .As far as I get it, she is 90% ok, and still goes to psychologist 1 once per month and had her on a speech therapist for 7 years almost). The psychologist recomanded for us to get a pet ,and though it's not a special trained one, it does his job .
Also, don't ask me why I named him after the nickname of a brit general.(''Monty'')
And why sometimes I call him like this dude https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GRSbr0EYYU
