Finland's Independence Day is the National Day of Finland celebrated on 6 December 1917 in recognition of its independence. The Independence Day is a serious celebration involving the recollection of war and the fallen. This year its 100 years ago Finland got independent. Many of my realtives dident managed to come back home after the hard fights 1939-1945 to keep Finland independent! SO 5 december i will be on WHIPS Do channel and play ouer game, with Finnish marsch music from wartime and with some vodka in my glass! S!

S! Congrats on the Anniversary of Independence. So you going to have music and a glass of vodka, and that is different from you playing this game everyday? Just kidding. Vodka, i figured you all had some type of traditional type drink. I would associate that drink with Russians. Was just curious if there is a such drink? Also what do you all do there to celebrate it. America we do fire works. Was curious what you all do over there. I hope you enjoy it.

Actualy the celebration at 6 december is always quite a quiet celebration! The most common thing is to lit a 2 candels and set it on windowsill. You visit the church and the cemetary where you put flowers on fallen soldiers graves. AND every year the last 15 years the show a special war movir from finland. This move has its third remake and its just now on the cinemas in FInland!
