Better to overclock CPU untill then.

My suggestion is this 1 an SSD - biggest change for the computer - 250 GB will be enough for Windows and most progz/games - Samsung 850 Evo is the one i recommend. 2 if you are on stockcooler get a new one so you can overklock - this game respond well to higher clock. 3 since nVidia has new serie 10...

Getting a new cooler for that CPU might make it possible to overklock it more.
And an SSD is really really good for windows and games.

Get someone to help you remove the card.
You work on releasing it and another that's ready to pull the card when its done.
